Each Statler has approached their retirement differently but all are enjoying themselves to the fullest.
Phil is quietly settled into an easier life even though he is at the Statler offices every morning and still involved with its day-to-day operations.
Jimmy has relocated to Nashville and released a solo album of gospel songs titled I Believe.
Don has turned to writing books. He has had three published since retiring from the music business, Heroes and Outlaws of the Bible, Sunday Morning Memories and You Know It's Christmas When...., the latter of which was written with his two sons.
Harold, who up till now had been as quietly settled in as Phil, has taken on
the monumental job, along with brother Don, of writing a book on the Statlers.
This memoir is due summer of 2006.
